As part of its Corporate Social Investment initiatives, Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) donated sanitary pads to Nthwalang Junior Secondary School, located approximately 15 kilometres from Lobatse. The handover was officiated by Mr. Tshepo Thuku, BDC Head of Group Accounting (Acting) and a CSR Committee member, who underscored the importance of empowering girls through education and ensuring equal opportunities for all learners. He noted that the donation formed part of BDC’s broader commitment to uplifting communities while promoting dignity and confidence among female students. School management expressed appreciation for the support, highlighting the positive impact it would have on the students’ academic journey, as BDC continued to demonstrate its dedication to inclusive development and lasting social impact across Botswana.
