LETLOLE LA RONA LIMITED SUCCESSFUL LISTING

Letloe La Rona was successfully listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange on Wednesday 15th of June. The company traded at P1.55 with 1,000 shares changing hands on its first inaugural trade. Speaking at the Listing, the Chairman of Letlole La Rona, Mr.James Kamyuka said that the main purpose of the private placement, public offer and listing was to allow Botswana institutions and citizen individuals the opportunity to own and participate in property investment, development and management.

Letlole La Rona managed to get over 1,559 individual investors.The Company is valued at P420 million, with nineteen properties representing its portfolio which include hotels, warehouses and factory shells in Gaborone, Francistown and Selebi-Phikwe.

The listing of the property is BDC's second empowerment initiative following last year's Cresta IPO, which ended with more than 3400 subscribers taking up a total of 38.2 million shares. In the Cresta IPO, BDC was disposing of 62.9 million shares with 40.7 million of them (22 percent of equity) being offered on the open market through the IPO at P1.45 a share.
