BDC donates a Computer and Printer to Motswedi Junior Secondary School

Botswana Development Corporation Limited recently donated a computer and a printer to Motswedi Junior Secondary School at Ledumang in Gaborone.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony on January 16, 2009, Chairman of BDC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee Mr Simon Meti said the donation was part of BDC ‘s contribution towards the development of education and other initiatives in the country.

He said BDC supports quality education and has put into place a sound CSR policy which holistically tries to assist in projects that contribute positively to the growth of the economy.

The computer was received by the school headmaster, Mrs Jacobina Mawela, her deputy Mr Molebeledi Makgolo (extreme right) and the school’s heads of various departments. BDC was also represented by Ms Gaba Gabotswe, Secretary of the CSR Committee.
