Operations fall within the Business Development Department. The department has an overall responsibility to identify, evaluate and monitor all projects that fall under the Corporation’s portfolio. The department also markets products and services of the Corporation.

In an effort to ensure continued and improved performance of the Corporation, the Department reviewed its business development and marketing strategy. This was necessary, given the current scarcity of bankable projects in the local market.

The strategy is aimed at developing new businesses that are commercially viable, and sustainable. It must also contribute to the growth and economy diversification of Botswana.
